Following the distance selling regulations, we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund (under the conditions of the refund policy below) as long as you return the goods within 7 days from the delivery day. The goods must be in an ’as new’ condition and returned in the original undamaged packaging, along with any accessories received with it. The product must not have been used or installed. Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take care of them and not use them.
We strongly advise customers before purchasing, to ensure that the measurements of all entrances are suitable for the intended purchase, as we are unable to offer a refund if the items are found unsuitable. If your purchase does not fit or suit we can issue you a credit note, less a 20% re-stocking fee if it is in its original packaging, and less 30% if it is out of its packaging. Special orders cannot be returned. If you wish to return goods, collection of these can be arranged by contacting us and a collection fee will apply, this collection fee varies depending on where you live. The collection fee may or may not be greater than the original delivery charge. Otherwise you can make your own arrangements to return the product to the following location: Furniture Designs, Old Bawn Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24, with your reciept , bringing the card you paid with, so we can credit it, less the charges of the refund policy above. You can send the product back to us, then email firstname.lastname@example.org , quoting your order number and we can make arrangements for refunding your purchase. We will then give you a full refund for the cost of the product. However we do have the right to retain any charges paid for services which have already begun or been completed and any other re-stocking or handling charges under the conditions or our refund policy above. Refunds take 3-5 working days to be credited to your payment card.
We cannot refund/cancel your purchase:
If you return your product to a store without proof of purchase. The seal has been broken for health and hygiene reasons on any mattress. The goods were a special order to your specification.
If a product arrives damaged, although we take every care to ensure your product arrives to you in pristine condition on rare occasions a product may get damaged in transit. If you do receive a damaged product, please contact us straight away by emailing us email@example.com We ask that you do not use the product for your own safety and inform us straight away. Please note that we may ask to inspect the goods to confirm the fault or ask you to carry out a telephone diagnostic to make sure it is not a problem that can be resolved quickly. All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.
Delivery charges are as follows:
- Within Dublin we offer a free Delivery service.
- Kildare and Meath is €40.00 plus VAT. All other areas is €100.00 plus VAT.
Delivery lead times:
Lead times are quoted and may be taken as an indicator and is an estimate based on our passed experience. Furniture Designs cannot be responsible for manufacturer delays. Lead times are as follows:
- Standard lead time for your delivery is 6-8 weeks from time of purchase.
- Stock products have a lead time of 10 working days approximately.
- Special orders have a lead time of 10-16 weeks.
Recycling of your old furniture:
We offer a service of removing and the recycling your old furniture on the day of delivery of your new products, all recyclables must be disassembled and ready for collection at the time of delivery, see costs below.
